What's New with HubSpot in 2015?

What's New with HubSpot in 2015?

10_Years_OF_INBOUND

HubSpot is the ultimate creator, leader and successor of inbound marketing. This marketing methodology is helping companies generate leads and track the way leads become customers. HubSpot has tons of awesome updates that will improve the user experience for all of us HubSpotters in 2015. This exclusive update is timely with the announcement and launch of these features during this week at INBOUND 2015 in Boston. Continue reading to explore what’s new and what changes you can expect in HubSpot’s all-in-one marketing software moving forward. The roundup includes:

  • HubSpot Form Updates
  • Predictive Lead Scoring
  • Customized Dashboards and Reporting Add On
  • Linkedin Advertising in HubSpot
  • Changes to the HubSpot Email Editor
  • Inline Editing for Websites and Landing Pages
  • LeadIn - HubSpot for WordPress
  • And Much, Much More!

HubSpot Forms Get Even Smarter

A major HubSpot announcement in 2014 was the addition of smart form fields and smart content enabling marketers to progressively profile and learn more about people as they travel through each stage of the buyers journey. In addition, with smart content you can personalize your website experience for leads that meet certain requirements, are in a particular smart list or even by lifecycle stage, device type, country and more.

To add another layer to the fun with HubSpot forms and smart form fields, you can now make form fields that appear based on what you know about someone. It’s magic. For instance, say you have a question you already know the answer to - you can create queued questions in your forms to learn more about your prospects.

Predictive Lead Scoring

So marketing, and sales…. and the united, worthy “smarketing teams” - how do YOU qualify your leads today? Well, whatever you’re doing and what lead qualifications are most likely to turn into customers – HubSpot will let you know. Using data, you can see your most and least qualified leads and help your sales team prioritize who they need to follow up with first moving forward.

This is great for HubSpot customers that have a lot of contacts or leads in their database that have not moved down the funnel to become customers. Don’t have a lead scoring method? Learn more about how valuable lead scoring is to your organization and what you’re missing if you don’t have this in place.

A Marketing Dashboard For All with a Reporting Add On

reporting_add_on

Now it’s easier than ever to create a customized report with a new reporting add-on. Create your own customized reporting views to easily communicate marketing and sales metrics/accountability to your entire organization. HubSpot has even provided some great pre-determined reports to get started customizing to your needs. The HubSpot reporting add-on will cost an additional $100 per month.

Manage and Track Your Linkedin Advertising in HubSpot

3-2

Now you can take a breath of fresh air knowing how much easier it will be to setup, track and optimize your Linkedin advertising moving forward directly in HubSpot. Get your highest converting content in front of more prospects, increase your content engagement and more. No more tracking URLs, digging through prospect source mediums and trying to effectively report on this advertising channel that over 80% of HubSpotters use. The HubSpot advertising add on feature will be an additional $100 per month.

Big Changes to the HubSpot E-mail Editor

Email_Marketing_Optimization

Not only does the e-mail editor have a new look and feel - it also comes equipped with tips for optimizing your e-mail performance moving forward. This includes information about when you should send your e-mails, who they should come from, a SPAM score for your emails and more! Speaking of optimizing your email marketing - the HubSpot workflows tool now allows you to set workflow goals and easily unenroll people with certain requirements - making it an easier experience for both your conversion reporting and ensuring prospects do not get irrelevant emails.

HubSpot COS or  “Site Pages” is now Websites

HubSpot has been stepping up their game to be a destination for your website to live and grow. With that in mind, HubSpot “Site Pages” or “Content Optimization System” has been renamed to Websites. Imagine what it would be like if your website lived under one roof with all of your other marketing efforts. The cost for hosting your website in the HubSpot platform is $300 per month and includes a HubSpot SSL security certificate. For a custom server and SSL certificate, it is an additional $600 per month - $900 total, down from last year’s price of $1,500. See the benefits of hosting your website on HubSpot here.

Like the changes in the e-mail editor above, the HubSpot websites tool will provide on-page and SEO optimization tips to help your website perform better. Are you an existing HubSpot customer and want to put your website on HubSpot? Learn how HubSpot will migrate your current website into their platform at no additional cost. Website migration typically takes six to eight weeks, and HubSpot websites are responsive to save you ongoing troubles with Google later.

Inline Front-End Website Editing

2

Click, make changes to your text, calls to action, images and more on your live website page in seconds. No more wysiwyg editors, slow loading live previews or surprises when you publish your website pages. This is called inline website editing, similar to the experience you get on WordPress, Weebly and Squarespace. HubSpot is calling this an "inpage editor."

HubSpot websites have this amazing feature putting marketers in control and one step closer to becoming today’s “marketing webmasters.” With inline editing, what you see is what you get.  Plus, there is revision control if you screw up. Want a tip for using this new feature? Make sure your modules in your templates (access them in the Design Manager) are clearly named and easy to navigate. Put that COS certification to use!

Lead-In aka HubSpot for WordPress (and Soon for All Websites)

Leadin

A Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger Experience with HubSpot

Overall, HubSpot is also working on making the platform lighter for faster load times, less bandwith and an overall better experience. Maybe the day is sooner than we imagined when we will be able to use HubSpot in our favorite coffee shops with terrible WiFi.
