StumbleUpon is a category-driven social site that allows you to find and share interesting content with the push of a button.  If you haven’t tried StumbleUpon and you’re looking for some inspiration (or entertainment), you might want to give it a try.

Depending on your interests, you can pick a category, push the “StumbleUpon” button as many times as you like and see some great pieces of art, recipes, business articles, bizarre creations that definitely inspire.  I have been on here for the last half an hour, pushed the button ten times and have seen everything from encyclopedias that have been transformed into miniature mountainscapes to understanding What Credit Card Numbers Mean.  Of course I checked my cards…..  Also, if you want to figure out how to determine if a card is fake, try the link above.  It’s pretty cool.  If you, also, are interested in headlines such as “This Is The 53-Year-Old Man Who Pushed A Teen Off His Lawn Mower, Tebowed, And Then Drove Off.”   Go to the Humor category, and it will not disappoint.

You can “like” the pages that you Stumble through while visiting the actual site from which the content originated.  I went to one of my Stumbles produced a site where I was able to see 77 inspirational thoughts on learning for example: 

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” - Benjamin Franklin "Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education." - Bertrand Russell. 

Humor mixed with some seriousness is my kind of style, so I liked this one:

“Never discourage anyone… who continually makes progress, no matter how slow.” – Plato. 

You can also “thumbs down” or dislike the page/post to help StumbleUpon better understand your personality and what you like.
